Who can purchase the Defender plan?
The Defender plan is available to any person that has a valid resident or non-resident concealed carry permit in their name, and who is not legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. The permit does not have to be from your state of residence.
A Firearms Owner Identification card (FOID card) is not a valid replacement for a concealed carry permit.
